I added these Escoda Versatil Paint Brushes to my EDC sketch bag recently after hearing some good things. Hand-made in Spain, these brushes are just the right size when capped, which is one of the main reasons I purchased these. Of course, performance, durability and being synthetic are important as well. I will post my official opinions in a future post, after I break them in — I've only used them a few times so far. But they feel nice in the hand, have a good spring and hold a decent amount of water and pigment. Pretty solid synthetic hair brushes. No complaints.
I will try to make a future post featuring my EDC sketch kit and my outdoor painting kit/tools.
